In 2005 we were selected from companies across North America, to design and build one of the largest monuments in Canada. This West Coast Monuments was chosen by Nathan Scott of Living Stone Studios, to build the granite base for the Terry Fox memorial sculpture in Victoria, BC in 2005. West Coast Monuments Inc. News February 2006 West Coast Monuments was selected by Constable Searle of the Surrey RCMP for his community volunteer project "Operation Remembrance" replace missing grave markers for Veterans at the Sunnyside Cemetery. July 2006, chosen by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to make a grave marker for the first British Columbia officer killed in the line of duty. May 2007, City of Surrey wins first place in the International KIP Awards for Operation Remembrance - grave markers provided by West Coast Monuments Inc.. July 1, 2007, The Last Post Fund (in cooperation with Veterans Canada) has selected West Coast Monuments Inc. as its new supplier for all Last Post Veterans markers in British Columbia and the Yukon Territory

January 2008: West Coast Monuments introduces free shipping on all grass markers and bronze plaques within B.C.
January 2009: West Coast Monuments provides engraved plaques for the City of Penticton's Centennial Celebration.
April 2009: West Coast Monuments refurbishes 250 grave markers for Veterans Affairs Canada.
June 2009: West Coast Monuments supplies 22 new grave markers for New Westminter's Fraser Cemetery and refurbishes 42 grave markers at Burnaby's Masonic Cemetery.
November 2009: West Coast Monuments completes restoration of the Lions Park Cenotaph in Rutland, BC

2010: West Coast Monuments completes work at the Navy Centennial Homecoming Statue Project, located at Victoria's magnificent downtown inner harbour. West Coast Monuments provided over 1,000 engraved fundraising bricks, 5 six foot long engraved granite "Ocean" inserts, assorted 2ft x 2ft engraved granite inserts, two custom boulders and the granite base for the statue. This statue was unveiled on May 4th as part on the Canadian Navy's 100 year celebration.
